California Notary Public , apostille services, same-day notarization Mobile Notary Services FAQ

Please reach us at v@vsignsmobilenotaryservices.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

A notary public is a public official appointed by the state government to witness and certify the signing of legal documents.

Mobile notary service is a convenient option where the notary public travels to your location, such as your home, office, hospital, jail or any other agreed-upon location, to perform the notarization of your documents.

To schedule a mobile notary appointment, you can contact a Veronica from V Signs directly via phone, email, or website. Provide details such as your location, the type of document(s) needing notarization, and preferred date and time.

Yes, mobile notary services often include an additional fee to cover travel time and expenses. The exact fee may vary depending on factors such as distance traveled and the complexity of the notarization.

It is advisable to schedule your mobile notary appointment at least 24 to 48 hours in advance to ensure availability. However, Veronica may accommodate same-day or last-minute requests depending on her schedule.

To comply with California notary laws, you will need to provide a valid form of government-issued photo identification, such as a driver's license (if expired, must be issued within that last 5 year), passport, or state identification card, to verify your identity during the notarization process.

If the signer doesn't have a valid for of ID, they may provide 2 credible witnesses with a valid ID that personally know the signer and can vouch for their identity. They will swear under oath before the notary to confirm the signer's identity. The witness cannot have financial interest or be named in the document.

I notarize a wide range of documents including:

  • Living Trusts, Wills, and Estate Planning Documents
  • Power of Attorney (POA) Forms
  • Loan and Real Estate Documents
  • Minor Travel Consent Forms
  • Medical Directives
  • Pension & Retirement Documents
  • Apostille-Ready Documents (for international use)

If you’re not sure whether your document needs notarization, just ask.

Yes! An Apostille is a government-issued certification that verifies the authenticity of a document for use in another country that is part of the Hague Convention. It confirms that the signature , seal, or stamp on a document is valid. At V Signs Mobile Notary Services, I help prepare, notarize, and deliver your documents to the California Secretary of State in Los Angeles to obtain the Apostille quickly and correctly. Out of state apostille services also available.

Absolutely. I provide same-day mobile notary appointments in West Covina and surrounding cities. Standard hours, 7 days a week are 8am-8pm, After-hours and urgent notarizations are available by request for an additional fee.

I proudly serve West Covina, Hacienda Heights, Baldwin Park, Covina, Walnut, Glendora, San Dimas, Arcadia and surrounding East San Gabriel Valley areas.

For Apostille services, I courier documents directly to the California Secretary of State Los Angeles office, making the process smooth for you. Out of state apostille services are also available.

You’ll need:

  • A valid government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport, or State ID)
  • The document to be notarized (complete, but unsigned—signing happens in front of me for a Jurat certificate)
  • Any required witnesses (if your document calls for them).

Yes. I’m a bilingual Mobile Notary (English & Spanish). I can notarize documents written in Spanish, and I can communicate with clients in Spanish to ensure they fully understand the process.

Most Apostilles are completed in 2–3 business days if couriered directly to the Los Angeles Secretary of State office. Expedited options are available depending on your needs.

Unfortunately not at this time. I only offer ink-based fingerprint cards.
